このシリーズは阪神電気鉄道が本格的な総括制御をめざして大正期に量産した木造電車です・製造時期やメーカーによって301形、311形、321形、331形と分かれており、信太郎は301形を1両、311形を2両製作しました。

このシリーズが登場した時代、阪神では普通の1本架線だけでなく複架線が大阪・神戸市内に残っていました。そのため、屋根上にはダブルポールを2組、そしてビューゲルト合計5つもの集電装置が搭載されています。模型でもにぎやかな屋根上がみどころのひとつです。

This series is a wooden train mass-produced by Hanshin Electric Railway in the Taisho era with the aim of full-scale overall control. I made 1 car and 2 cars of 311 type. When this series first appeared, in Hanshin, not only ordinary single overhead lines but also double overhead lines remained in Osaka and Kobe. Therefore, there are two sets of double poles on the roof, and a total of five current collectors in Bugert. One of the highlights of the model is the lively rooftop.
